How the Factory Audit Works

  1. You provide the supplier's company name and factory address
  2. We schedule the audit with the supplier (or conduct an unannounced visit if requested)
  3. A local auditor visits the factory, observes the facility and collects evidence
  4. The auditor compiles findings into an English report with photos
  5. You receive the PDF report within 24-48 hours after the visit

Pricing, Travel Fees and Coverage

The base price of $299 covers a standard factory audit in major manufacturing cities including Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Foshan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yiwu and Hangzhou. For factories in other provinces or remote areas, additional travel fees may apply β€” contact us with the factory address for a quote. The audit typically takes 2-4 hours on site. Both scheduled and unannounced audits are available. If the factory refuses access, we report the refusal and provide a partial refund.

Factory Audit vs Supplier Verification

Supplier Verification confirms that a company is legally registered. It does not prove the company has a real factory. A Factory Audit verifies the physical facility, equipment and production capability. If you need both legal registration checks and on-site verification, the Factory Audit includes basic registration verification as part of the report.

When to Audit a Factory

  • Before placing a large order or signing a manufacturing contract
  • When the supplier claims to be a manufacturer but may be a trading company
  • Before paying a deposit for custom tooling or molds
  • When you cannot visit the factory yourself
  • When quality issues have appeared and you need an independent assessment
